DESCRIPTION

A transit agency in Connecticut is seeking a vendor to provide a comprehensive transit bus maintenance management software solution. The software should streamline and optimize bus maintenance operations, improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance fleet reliability. It must offer a user-friendly mobile application or responsive web interface for use on shop tablets (Android/iOS), enabling authorized personnel to easily create, assign, track, and manage work orders.

Key features required include the ability to attach documents, images, and notes to work orders, automated scheduling of preventive maintenance tasks based on mileage, time intervals, or other customizable triggers, and tracking of completed maintenance activities and history. The software should generate and deliver automated service notifications (via email or SMS) regarding work order status, preventive maintenance reminders, vehicle availability, and other critical information.

Additional requirements are asset management for tracking maintenance-related assets (tools, equipment, service vehicles), road call management, parts inventory management, fueling system integration, and integrated purchase order/requisition creation. A pre-bid meeting will be held on March 13, 2026; questions must be submitted by March 20, 2026.
