Sound Transit in Washington is seeking a vendor to provide a comprehensive train control simulation software system. The selected vendor will be responsible for supplying and implementing simulation software, as well as converting multiple legacy alignment sections to ensure compatibility with the new system.
Key responsibilities include the delivery of both virtual and in-person training sessions for train control staff, aimed at effective knowledge transfer. The vendor will also provide ongoing support and maintenance for train control engineers over the life of the software license.
The vendor's scope covers software delivery and licensing, system conversion and integration, thorough staff training, and dedicated ongoing support. The contract duration is set for one year.
