The selected contractor will be responsible for providing maintenance services for traffic signals, signage, and roadway markings for a government authority located in Tucker, Georgia. The contractor must supply certified personnel, required vehicles, equipment, and materials to support ongoing maintenance activities.
Scope of work includes installing and repairing traffic signal poles, controller cabinets, vehicle detection systems, as well as the installation and servicing of overhead and post-mounted signs. Tasks also involve replacing signal bulbs, troubleshooting and repairing signal equipment, pedestrian push buttons, poles, and vehicle detection equipment. The contractor will be required to mark communication lines in response to 811 utility locate requests, repair signal fiber communications, and set clocks on school zone flashers and radar feedback signs at the start and end of the school year.
Routine inspections, such as checking door gaskets, cabinet vents, and fans for signs of deterioration or malfunction, are also required. Services will be provided for a one-year contract period. All questions regarding the RFP must be submitted by April 14, 2026.
