DESCRIPTION


This RFP solicits vendors to provide comprehensive traffic signal maintenance and repair services in California. Work includes performing various maintenance and repair functions such as traffic control on the roadway, replacing traffic signal balls and electronic pedestrian signal heads, painting signal heads and cabinets, and troubleshooting traffic signal malfunctions. Vendors will also be responsible for battery backup testing and troubleshooting, electrical systems testing, repair, and replacement. Resetting signal poles, mast arms, and cabinets after a knockdown, adjusting signal timing, installing, maintaining, and repairing traffic loops (including handhole access covers), bench testing and repairing controllers, and resetting boxes as needed are included in the scope.
