DESCRIPTION
The selected vendor will be responsible for providing a traffic signal central system that includes full setup and integration for 310 signals. The project requires complete intersection mapping and the setup of Automated Traffic Signal Performance Measures (ATSPM).
The system must feature multiple transportation management modules, such as signalized intersection and arterial management, connected vehicle integration, connected infrastructure, big data storage, data analytics, and support for edge device and IoT integration. The proposed system needs to be modular to allow for the straightforward expansion of features and should utilize microservices instead of a monolithic architecture. Scalability is critical—solutions should be horizontally and vertically scalable and must support dynamic autoscaling according to resource requirements.
Additionally, the system should accommodate specific domain name prefixes for each agency, avoiding a shared domain across agencies. The deployment will include various display features, including comprehensive map displays and general user interface design.
