DESCRIPTION
The agency seeks proposals from qualified traffic management service firms to support its operations in Kamloops, British Columbia. Services required include the provision of agency-certified and experienced traffic control personnel, the use of fully equipped lane closure trucks, and the preparation of comprehensive traffic management plans compliant with the latest Traffic Management Manual for Works on Roadways and relevant regulatory requirements.
The selected provider will be responsible for delivering daily and special traffic management plans, handling permit applications, and ensuring the availability of traffic control equipment rentals and custom signage on a 24/7, year-round basis. The scope also covers pedestrian control, onsite flagging, and the management of lane closures to support events and construction activities at BC Place. All necessary personal protective equipment for personnel must be supplied by the provider.
The contract term is for one year. Interested vendors must submit any questions regarding the RFP by March 30, 2025.
