SUMMARY

Issaquah, WA seeks vendors for traffic engineering services including studies, signal timing, and peer reviews for a two-year contract.

DESCRIPTION

The City of Issaquah, WA is seeking qualified vendors to provide comprehensive traffic engineering services under a two-year contract. The selected firm will support both larger capital project initiatives and one-time engineering needs as required by the city.

Services will include conducting traffic studies, corridor and alternatives analyses, and feasibility assessments. The vendor will assist city staff in reviewing traffic engineering reports, updating signal timing plans—including the implementation of leading pedestrian intervals at key pedestrian corridors—and analyzing post-implementation data to refine these timing plans. Additional responsibilities involve preparing and reviewing temporary traffic control plans, performing peer reviews for traffic signals, roadway illumination, and rectangular rapid flashing beacons, as well as supporting the implementation of peer-to-peer traffic signal functionality.

This opportunity is ideal for firms with demonstrated expertise in urban traffic engineering and a proven track record of collaboration with municipal clients.
