DESCRIPTION

This RFP seeks a qualified vendor to provide trade, consumer representative, and marketing services. The selected agency will act as a trade representative, representing stakeholder interests among Canadian importers and retailers to maintain strong working relationships at all levels of the trade.

The representative will be responsible for either conducting or outsourcing various consumer public relations and advertising initiatives. These include media outreach, social media and influencer campaigns, recipe development, targeted advertising, healthcare professional engagement, and participation in strategic industry events. The agency's remit includes connecting with diverse sectors such as the food processing industry (bakers, confectioners, etc.), importers, wholesalers, distributors, retailers, hospitality (HRI), culinary institutions, and other organizations within the commercial channels, particularly with a focus on walnuts.

The ideal firm will have the experience and network necessary to elevate market visibility and foster strategic partnerships throughout the relevant Canadian trade and consumer markets.
