SUMMARY

Florida seeks a vendor for tourism website design, development, migration, and ongoing CMS-based maintenance.

DESCRIPTION

The State of Florida is seeking a qualified vendor to design, develop, launch, update, migrate, and provide ongoing maintenance for a tourism website using a content management system (CMS). The new website must be fully responsive and mobile-friendly, with a user-centric navigation and an intuitive CMS that allows tourism staff to make internal updates efficiently.

Key requirements include seamless content migration—covering existing listings, blogs, media, reports, and tourism resources—as well as robust integration with Google Analytics. The website should be developed with a focus on performance, search engine optimization, and security, utilizing editable meta titles and descriptions, H1 tags, semantic HTML5, and comprehensive schema markup. Integration with Google Search Console and Google Tag Manager is also necessary.

To support Florida's diverse audience, the website must offer multilingual capabilities, including hreflang tags, SEO-friendly URL structures for each language, and measures to prevent duplicate indexing. The solution should also feature a robust events calendar and listings system with user submission functionality and an administrative review process, integration with booking systems and third-party tools, and customer relationship management software.

The contract for these services will span three years. Interested vendors are encouraged to prepare questions regarding the project requirements by January 5, 2026.
