The State of Texas is seeking a qualified vendor to manage comprehensive tourism public relations and marketing services targeting the Asia region. The goal is to develop and implement a strategic campaign that fully integrates consumer promotions, media activities, and support for travel trade initiatives to position Texas as a premier travel destination for Asian markets.

Key responsibilities include conducting public relations efforts aimed at key consumer and travel trade media outlets—both traditional and non-traditional—to generate significant positive publicity. The selected vendor will be expected to offer actionable market insights informed by research to enhance destination awareness and drive visitation.

The scope of work also involves creating and executing a strategic social media plan, maintaining an agreed content calendar cadence, real-time community management, and developing diverse social media assets such as copy, photography, and video. The vendor will be responsible for monthly and campaign-specific reporting, managing paid promotions, and providing additional program support as required.

Additionally, the vendor is tasked with developing and executing creative integrated consumer promotions that reach a broad audience through various media, travel trade, and direct-to-consumer tactics, ensuring aggressive and measurable campaign results to maximize awareness of Texas’ tourism offerings in the Asia region.
