Tourism Public and Media Relations Services

Florida’s Space Coast Office is seeking a vendor to deliver comprehensive public and media relations services aimed at promoting local tourism. The selected provider will position the Space Coast as a valuable resource for regional and national media, including business outlets that report on tourism initiatives, the use of tourist development funds, beach renourishment, capital improvements, and event grant programs.

Key responsibilities include building and maintaining strong relationships with media and tourism partners to support both visitor engagement and targeted marketing goals. The vendor will handle vetting and supporting a range of media professionals, initiate and pitch news stories, prepare and circulate press releases, and address media inquiries. Additionally, the provider will proactively seek new opportunities for collaboration, facilitate the distribution of key messaging, and monitor industry trends and emerging media.

The scope of work also involves preparing monthly reports detailing hours used and remaining, coordinating media familiarization tours, and organizing bi-weekly and seasonal strategy meetings. All interested parties should note the deadline for submitting questions is January 27, 2026.
