The United States Space Force Space Systems Command (SSC) is preparing to solicit transition out services for the Tools, Applications, and Processing (TAP) Laboratory and Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) Battlespace Awareness Center (OBAC). This effort will focus on ensuring the uninterrupted continuation of critical support functions provided under the existing contract.
This contract modification addresses the omission of key transition and continuity requirements in the original agreement. The selected contractor will be responsible for supporting Development Security Operations, Cybersecurity, Physical Security, and Infrastructure Enhancements during the transition phase. The goal is to ensure these mission-essential services are seamlessly handed over to a successor contractor with no disruption to government operations.
Interested parties should be aware that this notice serves as a pre-solicitation regarding the upcoming procurement, which will be issued under NAICS code 541715 for Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences (except Biotechnology). The scope of work will emphasize the successful and efficient transition of existing responsibilities to maintain continuity in support of SSC's Space Sensing portfolio.
