The Durham VA Medical Center in Durham, NC plans to acquire a subscription license for tissue and implant tracking software through a sole source procurement. The selected solution, InVita Unique Device Identifier (UDI) Tracker, will include Single Sign On (SSO) and VistA Interface, covering SSO SAML Integration, implementation, and annual fees. This software is exclusively distributed by CHAMPION MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIES, INC.
The InVita UDI Tracker is currently in use at the Durham VAMC and was previously procured under contract 36C24620P0874. This acquisition falls under the NAICS code 513210 for Software Publishers. The procurement is being conducted due to the determination that only one responsible source is able to meet the specific requirements for ongoing tissue and implant tracking at the facility.
Interested parties believing they can fulfill these requirements may submit a detailed capability statement and references from other customers. Submissions must be provided by the specified deadline, and will be considered at the sole discretion of the contracting office. If no qualified alternatives are identified, the sole source action will proceed.
