The solution should offer comprehensive software products and services specifically designed, or adaptable, for tracking all aspects of tissue and cellular therapy product management, including collection, processing, labeling, storage, modification, distribution, and transfusion processes.
Vendors must provide a cellular therapy management system capable of maintaining a data repository for discrete information elements, supporting both data generation and interfacing with other systems. The system should enable data warehousing tools, as well as user-friendly querying and reporting features. Solutions involving multiple suppliers must identify a primary supplier responsible for delivering a fully-functional implementation.
The desired LIMS must support reliable, high-volume, and customer-configurable real-time interfaces with other institutional systems, including Epic, using standard interface protocols such as HL7. The system must enable the creation of records concurrent with the relevant activities, capturing results, timestamps, and identification of personnel involved.
