This RFI seeks vendors to provide software upgrade services for Time and Frequency Reference Measurement Systems (TFRMS). The primary objective is to modify the TFRMS software to accept input from the new TRACER Modem as an external reference.
Vendors will be responsible for delivering software upgrades for TFRMS, which is a rack-mounted unit containing various external interface cards, oscillators, and GPS receivers. The upgrades should enable the effective use of external time transfer signals via the interface cards, thereby enhancing overall system performance. The proposed software solution must also support other external reference sources that provide the same input data format and content as the TRACER modem.
