Ohio is seeking a vendor to supply a comprehensive ticket vending machine (TVM) system designed to enhance the transit network's customer experience, operational efficiency, and technological innovation. The desired TVM infrastructure should be robust, user-friendly, and secure, supporting seamless fare collection for transit riders.
The proposed system must accommodate a variety of modern payment methods, including magnetic stripe cards, contact and contactless bankcards, as well as mobile wallets. Real-time status updates and alerts for device events are required via a dedicated system monitoring and management application. Each transaction performed should generate, store, and transmit a distinct data record, with the option to automatically dispense receipts. The customer display must effectively communicate any degraded operational conditions during transactions. Additionally, the system should provide audit register counts to support comprehensive data tracking and analysis.
