DESCRIPTION
The chosen vendor will provide third party Medicaid billing services for a Texas school district, including Medicaid reimbursement for specific health-related services. The vendor is expected to develop and implement a direct service program demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of Medicaid rate structures, timelines, and regulations pertinent to school districts of comparable size within the state.
Capabilities must include processing both electronic and hardcopy service tickets for claims submission, as well as providing analysis and documentation necessary for the Medicaid cost report, including desktop audits and addressing any potential appeals. Additionally, the vendor will assist and prepare district responses during audits of the program, cost reports, and ARD (admission, review, and dismissal) paperwork.
The initial contract period will be for one year, with all questions regarding the RFP to be submitted by April 2, 2026.
