The city is seeking a qualified vendor to provide professional third party claims administration services for its general liability program. The selected provider must conduct all services in full compliance with the regulations governing the administration of the city's general liability claims.
Responsibilities will include identifying actual or potential issues and trends, offering recommendations or solutions to mitigate risk and reduce losses. The vendor will be required to attend meetings and conduct file reviews with city staff, as well as provide regular updates on the status of open general liability claims.
Monthly statistical reports summarizing new and closed claims, payments issued, and reserves on all open claims will be expected to facilitate ongoing monitoring and strategic decision-making.
