The selected vendor will provide third party administrator services for vanpool claims as part of the Advantage Vanpool self-insurance program in Virginia. Responsibilities include administering automobile liability and physical damage claims for advantage-registered vanpools used by authorized personnel during official business.
The contractor will handle claim intake directly from advantage members and perform prompt, thorough claims investigations in accordance with industry standards. Duties also include managing a claims database, handling subscription and submission of reports, and establishing as well as updating reserves for loss and expense on each claim based on available facts.
The contract period spans three years, and all questions related to this RFP must be submitted no later than March 25, 2026.
