The selected vendor will provide comprehensive third party administrator (TPA) services to manage employee benefits, including section 125/cafeteria plans, voluntary benefits, health claims, consolidated billing, online enrollment, and COBRA administration. The TPA will act as the agent of record for the district’s employee benefit program, offering expert consulting, brokerage, enrollment, and administration services for a variety of plans.
Responsibilities also include COBRA administration for dental, vision, and flexible spending accounts, as well as consolidated billing and reconciliation. The vendor must supply and maintain a year-round benefits website to facilitate open enrollments, new hires, and all qualified personnel changes. Enrollment assistance is required both for annual open enrollment and ongoing support.
Additional duties involve providing consulting and brokerage services and processing all medical reimbursement and dependent care spending account claims via a debit card to ensure efficient claims payment for plan participants. The contract period is set for five years.
