The County seeks a qualified vendor to provide third-party administrative services for liability, property claims, and workers’ compensation. The scope of work includes full-service claims administration, internal monitoring of daily operations, quarterly claims reviews, and recommending procedures to ensure quality control and timely reporting. The selected provider will coordinate with County Risk Management staff, attorneys, and occupational medicine providers to manage return-to-work initiatives and case surveillance as needed.
Additional responsibilities involve processing and timely payment of workers’ compensation bills, tracking and mitigating municipal operational risks, delivering injury prevention services, and developing a detailed cost containment strategy for property, liability, and workers’ compensation losses. Vendors are expected to employ efficient methods to minimize claim exposure, maintain rigorous customer service standards, and generate internal tracking and closure reports. Electronic data sharing capabilities are required to facilitate coordination and reporting. The contract term will be five years.
