The selected vendor will provide comprehensive third-party administration services with a focus on Leave of Absence (LOA) programs. This includes the administration of all aspects of employee leave programs and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations such as FMLA and NJFLA.
Key responsibilities include operating a call center or employee support line, managing an online leave request intake portal, and maintaining an HR dashboard and reporting tools. The vendor will be responsible for real-time leave tracking, integration with district HRIS and payroll systems (including platforms such as Frontline and Systems 3000), and delivering leave utilization trends and compliance metrics.
The successful provider will handle determination of eligibility under relevant laws, issuing required notices regarding eligibility and rights, and tracking various types of leave usage—including continuous, intermittent, and reduced schedule leaves. Compliance with all federal regulations and meticulous record-keeping are required throughout service delivery.
