DESCRIPTION

The County seeks a vendor to provide comprehensive third-party administration, insurance brokerage, and risk management services for a two-year contract period. The selected Third-Party Administrator will monitor all open claims filed against the County involving insurance coverage and will assist in preparing and updating insurance specifications. Responsibilities include claims reporting, investigation, administration, medical bill re-pricing, medical payments, indemnity payments, coordinating claims review with excess carriers, and conducting quarterly claims reviews.

The vendor will also aid in the development of new insurance programs and provide advice on various coverage issues, including long-range projections of market conditions impacting the County. Additional services required include loss prevention program assistance, ergonomic assessments, and management of Commercial/Business Automobile Liability (including physical damage coverage), Cyber Liability, HIPAA security and cybersecurity practices. Ergonomic assessments are also expected as part of risk mitigation efforts.

Questions regarding the RFP must be submitted no later than May 6, 2026.
