DESCRIPTION
The government authority in Patchogue, New York seeks a qualified vendor to provide third party administration services for tax sheltered annuity 403(b) and 457(b) plans. The selected vendor will be responsible for comprehensive professional review, administration, and IRS tax-compliance services for the agency and plan participants, covering 403(b) and 457(b) investment programs funded by employee salary reductions and employer contributions.
Services must be delivered in accordance with applicable sections of the Internal Revenue Code, including 403(b), 457(b), 401(a)(9), 401(a)(17), 402(g), 3401, and 3121, as well as Treasury Regulations and agency guidance. The vendor will manage all aspects of plan administration, including contribution limits, universal availability and eligibility, written plan document maintenance, required notices, loan and distribution restrictions, and correction of operational failures.
