DESCRIPTION


The selected vendor will provide third party administration and record keeping services for a municipal employees health insurance program. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining a user-friendly website containing comprehensive program and plan information while also allowing potential customers to obtain online rate quotes. The vendor will be responsible for collecting and accounting for all premiums, handling disbursements to authorized healthcare carriers, and offering professional marketing services, including the creation and distribution of marketing materials.

Additionally, the contractor is required to develop and implement a strategic marketing plan, participate in outreach activities, conduct presentations to prospective participants, and engage with business organizations, nonprofits, brokers, and trade groups. Duties also include responding to quote inquiries, facilitating communication between brokers and carriers, processing new group enrollments, updating billing systems and enrollment data, and providing ongoing account maintenance services. The contract duration is three years.
