DESCRIPTION


The organization seeks a vendor to provide comprehensive third party administration and record keeping services for the municipal employees health insurance program (MEHIP). Responsibilities include developing and maintaining a website to house program information, available plans, and functionality for online rate quotes. The selected vendor will create professional marketing materials, maintain adequate supply levels, and actively promote the program.

Additional duties involve developing a strategic marketing plan, which encompasses participation in marketing meetings, delivering presentations, and outreach to various organizations including business groups, non-profits, brokers, and trade organizations. The vendor will collect, account for, and distribute all premium funds to authorized health care carriers, provide COBRA administration and account maintenance, update billing systems with new groups, plans, rates, and enrollment data, and deliver any other administrative and record keeping services required for the program.
