DESCRIPTION


The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) is seeking to procure proprietary thermal protection coating spray application systems and materials, as well as technical support services, for use at Crane Army Ammunition Activity and McAlester Army Ammunition Plant. The procurement will include the installation and support of new thermal protective spray equipment and the application of the proprietary NavCoat thermal protective spray material at China Lake, California. Year two options are included in the contract for additional material procurement and technical support as needed.

This contract supports the initial production and refurbishment of Navy General Purpose Bombs at the designated locations. The implementation of these proprietary thermal protection materials and systems is expected to improve the performance and longevity of the munitions in service. Interested parties with the capability to meet these specialized requirements are encouraged to submit a capability statement referencing solicitation number N6893624R0042, detailing relevant experience, resources, and ability to perform the work to the required standards within the project schedule.
