A government authority in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is seeking vendors to provide comprehensive telecommunications services, internal connections, and basic maintenance. The requirements include a dedicated, symmetrical, carrier-provided Ethernet Internet service delivered over fiber, along with managed Internet service that supports mitigation and allows existing telephone providers to deliver VOIP over the circuit. Installation must be included and be E-Rate eligible. The initial contract is for three years, with options for annual renewal up to two additional years.
Service Level Agreement requirements include 99.9% uptime, packet loss of less than 0.1%, and regional latency under 10ms. Vendors are requested to provide bandwidth quotes for 2 Gbps, 5 Gbps, and 10 Gbps tiers. The project also includes installation and configuration of WiFi 6 wireless access points and network switches, both with five-year enterprise support, licensing, mounting, configuration, and comprehensive project management. All associated documentation, functionality testing, and required cabling must also be provided.
Questions regarding this RFP must be submitted by March 13, 2026. The base contract period will be one year.
