The government authority in Washington is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive telecom and network voltage cabling work services. The scope of work includes installations and repairs of Structured Cabling Systems, network infrastructure installations for new construction and facility upgrades, as well as vertical and horizontal copper and fiber optic data wiring for facility and campus backbones, local area networks, and data centers.
Services also encompass telecom and network infrastructure consultation, cable design, walkthroughs, and cabling compliant with King County and industry standards. The vendor will handle moves, additions, changes, and repairs related to the County’s existing telecommunication inventory, including Nortel DMS100 Meridian Business Sets. Additional tasks involve interior cable installation, repair, removal of existing telecommunication and data network cabling infrastructure, and services supporting large moves and remodeling projects. Communication conduit and junction box installation work is also required.
