Technical Reporting and Strategy Consultant Service

The Utah economic development department is seeking a skilled consultant to provide technical reporting, documentation, and strategic support services. The consultant will work closely with department staff to gather and organize a variety of materials, such as sign-in sheets, meeting notes, summaries, participant feedback, and visual assets. Responsibilities include ensuring consistency in final reporting materials, establishing standardized formats for presenting summaries, charts, and qualitative data, and maintaining organized digital files for both active use and archiving.

The consultant will also analyze documentation from community engagement events to identify common themes, key needs, and strategic recommendations. They will be expected to create visual summaries, such as tables, graphs, or infographics, to clearly present findings, as well as draft narrative sections that highlight participation trends, challenges faced, and opportunities discovered. Regular coordination with county staff is required to integrate outcomes into future planning and program design efforts. Additional duties include attending periodic project meetings and maintaining clear communication to ensure accuracy and consistency in all materials, adhering to established formatting, language, and branding standards.
