The government authority in New Bedford, Massachusetts seeks a provider for comprehensive technical planning assistance services. The selected vendor will deliver on-call, multi-disciplinary planning for both fixed route and demand response transit services, including operational data analysis and a variety of public outreach and customer engagement activities. Support will cover customer service surveys, outreach and engagement initiatives, bus stop site evaluations, and on-board passenger counts.
Additionally, the scope includes technical assistance for Title VI analysis related to significant service or fare changes, help with public engagement and communication for these changes, and provision of safe harbor language document translation and in-person interpretation for public events. The contract also encompasses supporting grant applications and conducting special studies, with the flexibility for projects to be adjusted as necessary. The engagement period is set for three years.
