The government authority in Annapolis, Maryland seeks a vendor to provide comprehensive technical assistance related to economic studies involving the siting, licensing, and operation of electric power plants and transmission lines. The selected firm will offer specialized expertise on the economic and socioeconomic impacts of energy-related initiatives affecting the agency.
Key competencies required include technical knowledge in electric utility deregulation, potential reregulation, utility planning, econometric forecasting, as well as environmental and resource economics. The contractor will assist in utility siting and licensing, electric utility restructuring and competition, renewable energy strategies, demand-side management, and resource and environmental economics. This support will enable the agency to make informed decisions on energy and utility matters.
Vendors should note that all questions related to this solicitation must be submitted by April 14, 2026. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for April 7, 2026.
