Technical and Integration Services for DMLSS/LogiCole Facility Management Program

The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Huntsville Engineering and Support Center, has announced its intention to award a sole-source contract to Aktarius, LLC for the provision of technical and integration services for the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS)/LogiCole Facility Management (FM) program. This program serves as a critical Automated Information System (AIS) supporting the Defense Health Agency's (DHA) healthcare facility portfolio.

The DMLSS/LogiCole FM system is the primary tool used by DHA to manage its global portfolio of real property assets. It is designed to ensure facility compliance with accreditation codes and standards, supporting the safety and effectiveness of healthcare environments for Department of War (DoW) beneficiaries. The FM application offers robust automated management capabilities including scheduled maintenance, project oversight, regulatory compliance, and space management, integrating digital blueprints and computer-aided drawing.

This comprehensive system standardizes facility management across the DoD healthcare sector, providing improved resource management for new and existing facilities. Facility managers benefit from budgeting tools, maintenance project tracking, condition monitoring, regulatory program support, and detailed asset management from individual equipment up to entire buildings. The DMLSS/LogiCole FM program facilitates capital budgeting, proactive facility management, and effective use of facility data via its integration with the Joint Medical Asset Repository (JMAR), allowing informed decision-making for facility management and capital planning.
