The solution must support assessment and processing for real estate property tax, tangible personal property tax, machinery and tools tax, business personal property tax, gross receipts tax, short-term rental tax, transient occupancy tax, public service corporation tax, consumption tax, and bank franchise tax. Accurate assessment tools, interfaces with external systems such as JD Power for vehicle valuation, the Department of Motor Vehicles, and the Department of Wildlife Resources are required.
The tax management system should facilitate annual mass valuations, support daily account adjustments, and handle both annual and monthly supplemental billings with automated daily reconciliation of account records. Additionally, the system must enable issuance and renewal of Business Professional and Occupational Licenses, process tax relief and exemption applications based on dynamic eligibility criteria, and accommodate assessment of meals tax if adopted by the county.
