DESCRIPTION

The government authority in California is seeking a vendor to deliver a targeted homelessness prevention program. This initiative is designed to prevent hundreds of thousands of families from losing their homes while developing a clear, evidence-based blueprint for a national homelessness prevention strategy.

The program will prioritize households most at risk of homelessness, utilizing a shared assessment process that incorporates key risk factors. Services will include rapid deployment of financial assistance and supportive resources, including legal services, with a strong emphasis on equitable and accessible service delivery through a network of community partners. Data and outcomes are to be fully integrated into the local Homeless Management Information System (Clarity).

Public and private partnerships will be essential to ensure funding is provided at sufficient scale and flexibility to prevent homelessness and stabilize vulnerable households.
