DESCRIPTION

A government authority in Vancouver, Washington seeks to procure technical services for the development of system-wide signal enhancement application dashboards in support of an intelligent transportation systems project. The selected consultant will provide expertise in documenting, implementing, and supporting customizable dashboards capable of sharing near-real-time data from a diverse range of traffic and signal devices—including cubic and wavetronix units—deployed throughout the county.

The required solution must enable ingestion, normalization, and preparation of data streams for configurable dashboards, offer raw data access, and include high-resolution local and cloud-based storage. Essential features include searchable and exportable signal event data, comprehensive configuration visibility, advanced analytics (such as Purdue-based reporting), turning movement counts, approach-level performance metrics, self-monitoring and automated alerting for anomalies, as well as long-term and intersection/corridor-level performance reporting. The project will involve coordinating with County IT, Security, and project teams to address system and network requirements, data access, security, and connectivity considerations.
