SUMMARY

Seeking a vendor for a five-year contract to provide a comprehensive ESG sustainability data and analytics solution with advisory support for public and private markets in New York.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Bidder must have been in the business of providing an ESG data and analytics platform covering security level data, public equity, fixed income and private markets across the domains listed in Section 2.1 of the RFP for at least three years.
Bidder must assign a primary contact to the NYSIF relationship with at least three years' of verifiable experience providing advisory and support services.
Bidder must be able to provide the following Climate Metrics: Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, Paris Alignment tracking metrics, Scenario- based transition/physical risk assessments, Physical and transition risk assessments under different scenarios (1.5°C, 2°C, etc.), Net Zero tracking and science-based target indicators, Emissions trajectories (actual vs projected), Coverage across asset classes with climate foot printing data extending beyond corporates to include: Securitized products (e.g., ABS, MBS, CLOs); Sovereign and Quasi-Sovereign Debt, where possible; and Municipal Bonds
Bidder must be able to provide the following ESG Metrics: Thematic ESG indicators and sector- relative ESG scoring, Governance-specific indicators (e.g., board diversity, executive compensation ratios), Social metrics including labor practices (including child labor flags), supply chain violations, and community impact
Bidder must be able to provide the following Impact Metrics: Real-world impact indicators aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Product and operations-based revenue alignment with positive impact themes (e.g., climate solutions, health access, education), Coverage of green capex and green revenues across issuers
Bidder must be able to support position level portfolio analysis for portfolios containing up to 10,000 individual holdings across all relevant asset classes and metrics (climate, ESG and impact).
