The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Non–Expendable Equipment National Program seeks qualified suppliers for the provision of an advanced Surgical Tissue Management System, specifically the Olympus ESG-410 or equivalent, under a national Requirements contract. The contract will be firm–fixed price with a 12–month base period and four 12–month option periods, subject to annual reviews based on performance and continued need.
The Surgical Tissue Management System is an advanced, energy-based surgical platform utilized in VA Medical Centers operating rooms and procedural suites nationwide for tissue coagulation, devitalization, cutting, and vessel sealing. The platform supports multiple energy modalities—including ultrasonic, bipolar, and radiofrequency—to accommodate a broad range of surgical procedures in general surgery, urology, and gynecology. Designed to enhance surgical efficiency, the system reduces the number of generators and instruments needed, while features such as real-time controls, safety alarms, and energy output customization support reliable outcomes and minimal tissue trauma. Qualified vendors must deliver these systems to medical centers throughout the United States and its territories and comply with all government registration and verification requirements.
