DESCRIPTION


The City of Redding, California is seeking a qualified vendor to provide consultant services for upgrading its existing Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system. The selected vendor will be responsible for server installation and configuration, procurement and installation of server backup UPS, as well as firewall and switch installation and configuration. Additionally, the vendor must handle virtual machine licensing and configuration, and procure and install Microsoft SQL database licenses.

Key tasks will also include assessing and recommending the appropriate Ignition SCADA software, remote access solutions, and SMS/Voice phone notification packages. The vendor will be responsible for rebuilding the Tag database to align with the new SCADA software, setting up and testing remote terminals (workstations), and redeveloping system screens in coordination with city staff. A mandatory site walk is scheduled for April 28, 2026, and questions must be submitted by April 30, 2026.
