DESCRIPTION


A public agency in California is seeking qualified vendors to provide Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) integration and automation services for water and wastewater operations, as well as related capital improvement projects.

The scope of work includes both hardware and software services. Hardware tasks involve the design, installation, modification, and integration of new and existing industrial automation hardware. This encompasses SCADA systems, Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Programmable Automation Controllers (PAC), Operator Interface Terminals, Human–Machine Interfaces (OIT/HMI), medium–voltage power distribution control systems, instrumentation and control panels, PLC cabinets, network cabinets, and server racks.

Software responsibilities include the design, development, configuration, modification, and ongoing support of automation and monitoring solutions. This may involve PLC, PAC, and DCS programming; SCADA and HMI configuration; alarm management; system optimization; software upgrades; patch management; version migrations; and integration with existing systems and databases.
