A government authority in Ithaca, New York seeks a vendor to deliver summer youth employment program services. The program is designed to provide youth facing barriers to employment with opportunities to earn a paycheck and gain supportive, entry-level work experience. Participants will receive training in skills currently relevant to the labor market, be exposed to a variety of careers and employers, and learn about workplace etiquette to strengthen their basic employment skills.
The initiative aims to reinforce the relationship between academic achievement and skills required in the workplace, encourage youth to earn a high school diploma, and serve as an entry point into the broader workforce development system. The contract for these services is expected to last one year. All questions related to the RFP must be submitted by March 25, 2026.
