DESCRIPTION


The government authority in Ashtabula, Ohio is seeking a vendor to deliver a summer youth employment program for participants aged 14–18 who are enrolled in secondary school and are members of needy families. The chosen provider will be responsible for developing safe and supervised job sites suitable for referred youth, and will manage all aspects of the youths’ employment experience. This includes overseeing enrollment with employers, coordinating transportation to and from worksites, maintaining time and attendance records, and handling payroll and all related administrative functions.

The provider must also demonstrate financial responsibility by having adequate coverage for participant losses due to theft, property damage, or personal injury. A clear and documented procedure must be in place to guide participants in filing liability claims, should the need arise. The contract will be for a one-year period, and all questions regarding the RFP must be submitted no later than April 3, 2026.
