DESCRIPTION

The State of Idaho is seeking a vendor to provide a student transition planning software program designed to support students in developing transition goals and plans that are compliant with state and IDEA regulations. The system will utilize student-inputted data to write special education transition goals, assess readiness for moving from middle and high school to the workforce or adulthood, and identify remediation needs for any transition gaps.

The software must include job search functionality, research resources for students to explore career opportunities, and tools for resume-building. Accessibility is a primary requirement, with the system needing to operate on desktop and laptop computers across major operating systems including Windows, Mac, and iOS. The program must also function via a web portal compatible with multiple browsers such as Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Chromium, Safari, and Opera, and should maintain a minimum uptime of 98%.

Interested vendors should note that questions regarding the RFP must be submitted no later than April 15, 2026. The initial contract period will be for one year.
