The organization seeks a vendor to provide student nutrition software systems capable of district-level management and reporting. The solution must support point-of-sale operations, including viewing reports and data across the district, tracking sales by individual line and cashier login, and allowing students or staff to check out at POS terminals using ID numbers via barcode scanners or compatible USB PIN pads. Staff should be able to search for individuals at the POS by name or ID number.
The software must automatically track students eating at different sites than their enrolled location, with site claims processing configurable at the district’s preference. It should enable serving nutrition staff and district employees at all POS terminals regardless of site, and allow centralized management of allergy flags, notes, and prominent messages requiring cashier acknowledgement. Additional requirements include a searchable transaction log for researching time, cashier, payment, and purchases, accessible both at the district and site levels without remote campus login.
Questions regarding the RFP must be submitted by March 10, 2026, and the initial contract period will be one year.
