The selected broker will deliver a suite of student insurance brokerage solutions encompassing accident coverage, athletic coverage, and health insurance for graduate, undergraduate, international students, and their dependents.
The solution must include support for preparation of insurance applications and policy specifications, submission to underwriters, and automated waiver processing with workflows for intake, validation, and approval or denial, ensuring verification of comparable coverage. It must offer a broker-managed online enrollment portal transmitting all required documentation to insurers, as well as coordinate safety and loss control services with insurers. The broker will be responsible for analyzing and receiving annual quotations significantly ahead of policy expiration, facilitating access to claims utilization reports covering trends, high-cost claims, preventive care, and cost drivers.
Additional requirements include digital ID cards, mobile access to plan documents, prescription drug coverage with formulary transparency, and support for premium billing and reconciliation.
