The new systems must manage administrative operations across these domains and feature automated, role-based security with streamlined approval workflows and provisioning, reducing IT overhead.
Key requirements include maintaining a single person record across HR, finance, and student modules, ensuring robust data and process integration, and supporting API management through an iPaaS platform. Real-time dashboards for fund utilization, student eligibility, and HR compensation data are essential, as is the ability for non-technical staff to build customizable dashboards and generate ad hoc reports. The solution must provide a comprehensive data dictionary and metadata catalog, integrate logs with SEIM tools, and offer embedded field-level help, guided pop-ups, and role-based training.
Mobile application support is required to ensure a seamless experience for students, faculty, and staff. Additional features should include tracking of advising notes, case management, limited-access program admission management, and tools for managing wellness campaigns and event scheduling. The systems must also enable AI-driven Tier 0 HR support with escalation, and automate complex reconciliations across multiple accounts with transaction matching capabilities.
