The State of South Carolina is seeking a qualified vendor to provide a comprehensive student fee payment software platform for educational agencies. The selected solution must support multi-channel payment options, enabling both in-person and electronic transactions initiated by parents or agency staff for various fee types, including yearbooks, club activities, parking, examinations, and ad-hoc charges. Additionally, the platform should feature point-of-sale capabilities for agency-led events, facilitate ticketing and venue management through electronic QR-coded tickets, and enable the customization of fees such as waivers, proration, or reductions. Public-facing functionality for general donations is also required.
The software should allow agency personnel to create and manage forms that must be completed by parents during payment processes. Robust data integration is essential, including bidirectional, high-speed synchronization with the agency Student Information System (SIS) and interoperability with financial or ERP systems via API or file import/export. The solution must include a parent portal accessible during annual registration and throughout the school year.
Multilingual support is a key requirement, with all messaging translated into multiple agency-used languages, such as Spanish, Gujarati, Mandarin, Telugu, Vietnamese, Arabic, Portuguese, Mam, Russian, and Tamil. The platform must be compatible with all major web browsers and scalable for use on mobile and tablet devices. The anticipated contract duration is five years.
