DESCRIPTION

A government authority in Arizona seeks a provider for student accident insurance services. The selected vendor will deliver insurance coverage for accidental injuries occurring while students are at school during session, participating in school-sponsored and supervised activities, and while traveling directly to and from their residence, scheduled classes, and school events in school-provided transportation.

The insurance must cover all sponsored sports (excluding interscholastic high school tackle football except during actual play or practice), as well as injuries occurring at home, school, weekends, and during the summer on a 24/7 basis, with worldwide coverage (excluding interscholastic athletics). The plan should include dental coverage for accidental injuries to sound, natural teeth, and coverage for injuries during school-sponsored band or chorus programs. Additional coverage is required for students at approved worksites, during supervised worksite activities, and while traveling between school, home, and worksites. Coverage for student athletes in summer conditioning programs, including football, and insurance for participants in independently organized international high school trips and exchange programs is also required.

All questions regarding this RFP must be submitted by April 9, 2026.
