DESCRIPTION


A government authority in Florida is seeking qualified vendors to provide comprehensive structural engineering services for building projects. The scope of work will include analysis and code review of the structural systems in existing facilities, as well as on-site investigations and inspections to assess current conditions.

The selected engineering firm will be responsible for the coordination of specialty consultants and testing agencies, the design of new building structures, replacement components, and additional structural systems. The vendor will generate project plans and specifications at various development phases, including Schematic Design, Design Development, and both 50% and 100% Construction Documents. At each submission phase, the firm will provide an Opinion of Probable Construction Cost.

In addition to design, the scope encompasses procurement and construction administration services. These include reviewing submittals, pay application evaluations, conducting bi-weekly site visits, and performing Substantial and Final Completion Inspections. Other basic engineering services related to the building projects may also be required. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for January 7, 2026, with a deadline for questions set for January 9, 2026.
