The City of Orlando is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive streets resurfacing services under a one-year contract. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all necessary materials, equipment, labor, tools, and incidentals required to complete the resurfacing work. This includes the provision of transportation, construction equipment, machinery, fuel, power, water, sanitary facilities, and all other resources essential for the project.
Key responsibilities include supplying a qualified traffic control supervisor to initiate, install, and maintain all required traffic control devices throughout the project. The contractor must ensure proper integration of all project components, uncover portions of work as necessary, remove defective installations, provide samples for testing, and complete required penetrations for piping and conduit. All structural work, as well as exposed cut and patch efforts, must be executed with prior written approval from the engineer, ensuring that visible areas maintain their aesthetic integrity.
A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for January 8, 2026, and all questions related to the project must be submitted by January 15, 2026.
